Evie's latest range is all about the oak tree. Using recycled glass beads and hammered oxidised silver, Evie has created a lovely pendant that is perfect for autumn, but wearable all year. The bead is approx 2 cm and hangs on a 20 inch oxidised silver chain.
All the pieces in this collection are made with 100% recycled EcoSilver and industry offcuts of brass and copper.
Evie Milo is a jewellery based in Scotland, where she lives on a clifftop house. As a child she was taught to cook, sew, mend and make. Her earliest jewellery was created from the contents of a suitcase full of buttons belonging to her grandmother. She went on to study pottery printmaking and sculpture, where she loved welding found objects into new creations. A first class degree in photography followed before she returned to her first love, jewellery. She is very conscious of her impact on the environment and all her silver is recycled eco silver. Inspired by daily walks on the beach, her beautifully finished work has a tactile and organic feel.
